Marlin R. Hunt, age 84, of Crete, passed away Aug. 25, 2024, at the Wilber Care Center. He was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Bellwood, to Albert and Doris Hunt.
He was a self-taught Artist. His talents ranged from acrylic canvas paintings, woodworking and a drawing of a spray can on his Rambler. He enjoyed fishing with his children as they were growing up and raced cars with his brother. He worked for Abel's and then Constructors for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce; children, Steven Hunt, Brenda (Dennis) Klima, Mark (Holly) Hunt, and Lonnie (Carly) Hunt; grandchildren, Steven (Kylea) Hunt, Jr., Jonathan (Allison) Hunt, Emily Klima, Elias and Emerie Hunt; great-grandchildren, Summer and Mylah Hunt, and Patrick Hunt; sister, Elsie Scott of Arizona; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hunt of Roca; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Albert (Vern), Jack, and Hershell; infant brother; and his beloved dog, Ginger
A funeral services will be conducted at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested in care of the family for future designation. Arrangements by Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
