Larry James Chrastil, age 78, of Crete, passed away Sept. 27, 2024.
He was born March 20, 1946, in Crete, to Frank and Lillian (Hronik) Chrastil. Larry attended Crete schools and graduated from Wilber High School in 1964. He then attended the Lincoln School of Commerce and graduated in 1966 with an associate's in accounting. Larry worked for H & R Block during the 1970s and then from 1982 – 2005, ran his own tax and accounting business. He was a U.S. veteran and served in the Army. Larry enjoyed fishing, running and especially anything that related to the Huskers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Reg. Larry is survived by his sister, Shirley LaMountain of Elkhorn, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
A private family interment of Larry’s cremains will take place in honor of his wishes. Arrangements by Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
