Lynette Sue (Reetz) June, aged 64, of Columbus passed away peacefully May 29, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, after a battle with cervical cancer. She was born Dec. 19, 1959, in Crete to Lavern and Janice (Hans) Reetz.
She was a proud member of St. John Lutheran Church, Kramer, and was a 1978 graduate of Crete High School. She married Brian June on July 31, 1982, in Kramer, and to this union their son, Jeremy, was born. She worked at Loup Power District in Columbus for 18 years.
She is survived by her mother, Janice Reetz; son, Jeremy (Amily) June; brother, Terry (Julie) Reetz; special friend, Loyd Heusinkvelt; nieces and nephews, Jerad (Aleece) Reetz, Jennifer (Brian) Gross, Amanda (Garret) Easley, Nicole (Cale) Gierhan; grandchildren, Blake and Ayden; 12 great-nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Elmer (Shirley) Reetz, Allan (Janice) Reetz, Jerome Kalkwarf, Dianne Kouba, Jolene Reetz, and Betty Reetz; many cousins; special family, Dan (Mona) Heusinkvelt, Ken (Maria) Heusinkvelt, Roger Heusinkvelt, Danielle Drevo, Ethan (Jen) Heusinkvelt, Christine VanBeek and John (Maggie) VanBeek, Adriana and Elise Drevo, Adalyn and Emma Heusinkvelt.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lavern Reetz; Brian June; aunts and uncles, Donna Kalkwarf, Gloria and Bob Woodruff, Phyllis and Vern Mullner, Clarence, Gerald and Roger Reetz.
A Celebration of Life was June 4. Arrangements by Trump Funeral Services in Lincoln.
