Bill Gleason, Alexandria, Virginia, was born Aug. 19, 1941, in Gross Pointe, Michigan, and passed away June 25, 2024, in Lincoln.
He was the former Professor of History, Rossman Chair, at Doane College. Bill retired in Washington, D.C., after a decades-long career with the Foreign Service Institute of the State Department.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted in Washington, D.C., and Detroit, Michigan, at a later date.
