This is a synopsis of the Saline County Board of Commissioners’ June 25th, 2024, regular meeting proceedings. SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS The regular meeting of the Saline County Board of Commissioners was called to order at 9:51 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024, by Chairperson Phil Hardenburger. Present were Hardenburger, Janet J. Henning, Russ Karpisek, and Stephanie A. Krivohlavek, Commissioners, Diann Nettifee, County Clerk, County Attorney David Solheim. Commissioner Marvin A. Kohout was absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s Office and published in all three county newspapers on June 19th, 2024, in compliance with State Statutes; Hardenburger advised those present of the open meetings act at the back of the room and that all proceedings are electronically recorded; Approved Agenda as presented; Approved the minutes of the June 11th, 2024 regular meeting; Citizens Forum; no participation; Correspondence; Thank you from Saline Center and Berggren Architects, letter from Lou Hajek-Czech Days invitation; Report of Officials; Commissioners reported on various activities and meetings they attended; Scott Davis, Veterans Services – presented Veteran of the month Roger Glenn; Patrick Kreifels, Region V Systems and Matt Kasik, APACE - on programs and services; Stephanie Bolt, Crete Area Medical Center – ALS program update and request for funds; Carmen Hinman, Hope Crisis Center - programs and services update, request for funds; Anita Stougard, Saline County Youth Diversion – program and services update, request for funds; Doris Koll, Saline County Historical Society - Request for funds to repair chapel.
