VILLAGE OF DORCHESTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 19, 2024 A Special Meeting of the Village of Dorchester Board of Trustees was held Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Dorchester Community Hall, and was called to order at 5:29 p.m. Chairperson Pro tem Tammie Lang advised those present of the Open Meetings Act. Answering Roll Call were board members Matt Shaw, Nancy Tellez, and Tammie Lang. Chairperson Roger Miller was excused. (All motions carried are unanimous “for” unless otherwise noted). Advance notice of the meeting was posted at the Dorchester US Post Office, First State Bank, NE and Village Hall. The purpose of the meeting was for consideration of resignation of board member Sarah Wenz and to discuss weekend and 4th of July splash pad hours. Clerk Kasl presented a resignation letter from Wenz. Motion by Lang, seconded by Shaw to accept the resignation letter. Motion carried (3-0-1). Splash pad weekend and 4th of July hours were discussed. Weekends will be open from 1-7 pm and from 10 am – 9 pm on the 4th of July. Motion by Shaw, seconded by Tellez to adjourn. Motion carried (3-0-1). Meeting adjourned at 5:33 pm. Next regular meeting is Monday, July 8, 2024 at 6:30 pm at the Farmers Cooperative meeting room Respectfully submitted, Jennifer M.
