Saline County's Living History Day approaches

The Saline County Historical Museum is preparing for its Living History Day coming up on August 24. The free event will feature interactive opportunities for attendees of all ages to learn about the past, and the July 31 edition of the Crete News will give you more information about what to look forward to.

Crete seniors season ends at districts

The Crete Post 147 seniors saw their season end at the Class B Area 2 tournament July 27. The team opened with a 10-3 loss to top-seeded Nemaha Sports Construction July 26, then lost to Hickman Gana Trucking Post 105 13-3 July 27. Carson Kotil was 3-4 against NSC in the opener. Max Connell was 2-2 with an RBI against Hickman.

Indie Art Night - August 1

Teen Night at the Crete Public Library will bring out your inner artist. Experiment with different materials to bring personal visions to life. Registration is required and the event is for teens ages 12 to 17.
