CITY OF CRETE, NE NOTICE OF 2nd PUBLIC HEARING FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the Crete City Hall, 243 East 13th Street, Crete, NE the City of Crete will hold a public hearing to provide an opportunity for public comment concerning existing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects awarded to the City. CDBG #15-DTR-102 Implementation: The City was awarded $350,000 in 2015 CDBG funds to implement a commercial rehabilitation program and public facilities sidewalk improvement. The project meets the national objective of prevention or elimination of slum or blight conditions. Of the CDBG Funds awarded, $307,000 is for is for Commercial Rehabilitation Code 0590, $8,000 is for Construction Management Code 0380, and $35,000 is for General Administration Code 0181. All interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing, at which time you will have an opportunity to be heard regarding these projects. Written testimony will also be accepted during the public hearing scheduled for Monday, August 5, 2019, during the City Council Meeting which begins at 6:00 PM at the Crete City Hall in Crete, Nebraska.
